Roger Masiewicz was born in Chicago IL on September 24, 1946 he passed away on June 8, 2008 in Delray Beach Florida. All though Rogers Life ended at such a young age he accomplished many things. As a young child he was an Eagle Scout he also became a police officer for the Skokie Police Department in Skokie IL, He worked for cingular wireless the new ATT wireless, he also worked at Calcomp, he and his wife also owned a pet shop in Tuscon, AZ
Roger is precedded in death by his father Harry Masiewicz. He is survived by his wife Linda Masiewicz of Delray Beach Florida, a son Scott, (Crystal) Gillespie of Ulysses, KY two grandchildren Ashley (10) and Zachary (20 months), of Ulysses, KY, his Mother Helen Masiewicz (88) of California four brothers, Allen Masiewicz Of North Carolina, Steve (Donna) Masiewicz of California, John (Georgia) Masiewicz of California, Andy (Robin) Masiewicz of California, and one sister Patricia(Steve) Woodyard of California.
Roger married his wife Linda on September 29,1973 they would have celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary this year. He loved his wife, son and his grandchildren. Reading was his favorite past time.. He always had a book in his hand. When you asked him what he wanted for Fathers Day, his birthday, or Christmas he would always say" you know, a good book" He always prefered a good Stephen King or James Patterson book.
He and his wife took a trip to Acapulco, Mexico in 2006. and then in June 2007 he and his wife took a road trip to Kentucky where they took their time traveling. They stoped in Georgia and ate at the Paula Dean Resturant "The Lady and Sons", they went thru to Nashville, Tn where they saw the Grand Ole Opry and to Chatanooga TN where they went to the Tenn. Aquarium and the Chatanooga Choo Choo. He enjoyed the Station House Resturant at the Chatanooga Choo Choo Holiday Inn, and getting to spend time in Kentucky with his son and grandchildren...
Roger will be missed dearly but his memories will always be with us...
