My condolences, as feelings of pain and bitterness become unbearable. It is my desire to convey a comforting thought based on the Holy Scriptures

Holidays are hard to get thru, when you are missing your loved ones, Roger may be gone but he will live forever in our hearts, he is in our daily life each and everyday.  We think of him often and miss him so much. We love and miss you very much Dad...

Merry Christmas

We Miss and Love You Very Much

I can't believe it has been a year since Roger passed. My brothers and I try to get together as often as we can, to stay in touch and share our lives with each other. On the day Roger passed away, we were at just such a get-together, and we spoke of him and our oldest brother Alan who lives in North Carolina.

 

We call Linda and all talk to her at our get-togethers now, and I hope that it helps that we think of her and care about her.

 

  

Alot has taken place since the last time I wrote... We got to take the kids to Disney World, we stayed at the Animal kingdom Resort and wow was that ever so nice, my mom Bessie got to go with us that was so awesome this was her first trip.  It was a special time because mom Linda got to go with us as well.  We even went to her hotel room and got her so she could spend a night with all of us in the Resort.  when we got home it was just a couple weeks till Christmas, I have to tell you my heart just hasn't been in it this year. I worried about mom being alone for the Holidays.  She and chico spent  Christmas together.  I wish i would have thought of it soon and bought her a plane ticket and flew her out here to be with us for Christmas.  She misses you so much as do Scott, the kids and myself.

I kept remember back to last Christmas being in Florida with you and mom and you two watching the kids open their gifts, playing with them and watching the kids run thru the house, oh how bright and cheerful your eyes were.  We miss you so much, it is so hard.  But always know that we are going to help take care of mom the best that we can and as much as we can.

I must close for now but till next time always know you are in our hearts, thoughts and prayers every night.

The Holidays have approched quickly Thanksgiving has came and went and it was a hard one this year with you, mom has us worried, I hate her spending the holidays alone.  We all miss you so bad. We are in Florida right now, we are taking the kids to Disney World for a week, and we are blessed because mom and my mom are going to be with us. We are really excited about this.

Christmas won't be the same this year, we will be thinking of the wonderful christmas that we celebrated with you.  It was a great christmas, you sitting in the room where the christmas tree was with chico on your sholder the memories are great and will be forever in our heart.

We love and miss you so bad, you def touched our lives for the best, because of you my daughter loves to read.  Zach will be told many many storys of you and your memory will live with in him too.

Hi Dad it is so hard to beleive that you are no longer with us.  You are always on our minds and in every thought we have.  I had a huge suprise party for Scott in September, I even flew mom out here to be his big suprise, we put out pictures of you on a rememberance table.  we had to have you there with us we know you couldn't be there in person but you were with us in spirit.... we miss you the kids are growing up so fast, Ashley is now 11 and has had the same boyfriend for a year now.  She even went out on her first date with him to the movies on Saturday night but of course scott and I went with her.  Zach is now 2 and wow how big he is getting.  We have him bottle broke and now working on the potty thing that is going to be a chalenge as he is a stuborn little boy.. We all miss you so much, mom is still going to move out here to be by us, it will be a sad time for her but she needs to be close to scott, the kids and I so we can help her, we looked at some homes in September, but I think she has decided to build the home form port st. lucy the one you two like so well...

She has had to deal with alot and not havening you there really puts a strain on her I know she says she is ok, but I worry about her, we are getting ready to come to Florida at the end of the month we are going to take the kids to Disney World for a week, my mom is comeing with us, and mom has also decided to come and join us for a couple of days this should be so much fun I know ashley is looking forward to it, and i am just looking forward to getting way from all of it for a while.

well dad I guess i have talked your ear off enough tonight I am going to close...

Roger was a wonderful person. He and Linda lived next to me for several years in Boca. We discussed many things in our universe and stayed in contact up until the end. My kids got a kick out of Roger as he was always prepared with some great insight..... I will miss our quarterly dinners without Roger as he will be remembered fondly...

I am fortunate to be my brothers' "little sister". With Roger, it meant for me big bear hugs, smiles and laughs. Kindness and generosity of spirit were always present.

 

If you had troubles, he was sympathetic, and never looked to critcize.

 

Everyone should have someone like Roger in their life. We were lucky to have him in ours. I miss you, Roger.

 

 

I've come to know Linda as a dear friend and neighbor of my sister, Joyce. Whenever we fly down to visit in Florida, we always enjoy chatting and visiting with Linda. Although we only met Roger once, he was warm and welcoming and enjoyed our interaction with his pet bird, Chico. It is through his loving wife, Linda, that I know he was an exceptionally wonderful husband, friend and companion. I know he loved to read because he shared his reading material with us. Our deepest sympathy to Roger's wife, family and friends. We know he will be sorely missed.

My condolences to Roger's family. I remember Roger well but from years ago when we were both young pups on the department. I always liked Roger and we often talked about different matters. These will be my memories of Roger, these times of old when we were young. As my memories are of all the guys from those days gone by.
